Jennifer and David recently bought Mane Crush Salon.  We have two beautiful sons, and love our family time, when we take a moment from our day to day "work" life.

 We are SO excited for the future of the salon.  We have 15 AMAZING hairstylists/nail technicians, and believe the options are endless!  We are so proud of our team and know there is a service provider to fit any and every clients needs.  We are team/family driven, putting our clients needs number one priority.  Each stylist is independent and you can book directly through them.  We love Chattanooga and the wide variety of clients we get to meet on a daily basis, due to its quick growing community from here or there.  

      Jennifer is a professional hair stylist and colorist.  She began her beauty industry passion at a very early age.  She learned how to braid hair on her Raggedy Ann doll in elementary school and loved braiding her friend’s hair.  Her first job was at a small hair salon in Woodstock, Georgia as a receptionist when she was 16 years old.  She loved seeing how passionate the stylists were at all ages and experience.  In 2005, Jennifer graduated cosmetology school and focused on education and growth.  She moved to Chattanooga in 2010, and continued her passion., working at a top Chattanooga salon for 7 years.

Jennifer found her "forever home" at Mane Crush Salon in 2017.  Felt inspired the day she walked in and was introduced to the most amazing owner and coworkers ever. In 2022, Sharon Kilgore(owner), was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and fought the hardest fight imaginable.  Sharon created her dream, and it felt impossible to not continue her legacy and keep what she had created, such a hard-working family together.

 

Jennifer is as passionate today as she was in 2005.  She has continued to grow as a stylist, form personal relationships with guests, and enjoys showing them how beautiful they are inside and out.  Jennifer is so proud to work with such a talented group of stylists and cannot imagine doing anything else in life.

     Molly is a highly experienced and skilled hair stylist with over 50 years of experience in the industry. She started her journey at a young age, for her natural cutting her friends' hair and was soon recognized for her natural talent by her father. She went on to work as an apprentice for 3,000 hours and received her license, laying the foundation for her successful career in the industry. Over the years, Molly has honed her craft, and developed a unique style that sets her apart from others in the industry. She worked at Gails Total Image for 25 years and then went on to own her own shop, Molly's Chair, for 15 years. Her passion for her work has been evident throughout her career, and her clients appreciate her attention to detail and ability to create personalized styles that suit their unique features and preferences. 

     In 2016, Molly joined Mane Crush, bringing her expertise and experience to the team, where she will be wrapping up her career. She has the pleasure of helping her clients look and feel their best, and she considers it a blessing to pursue her passion and do what she loves for her entire career. Unfortunately, Molly will no longer be taking new clients, but will forever be part of Mane Crush.

       

       

     Susan has been in the industry for over 24 years. She has been a cosmetology instructor for the state of Tennessee since 2005. She has been a part of the Mane Crush family since 2017, and does hair, nails, and waxing. She works Tuesday - Saturday. Hair prices start at $25 and go up from there depending on the service (prices subject to change).

     Tisha's hair journey started on her first baby and next up, none other than barbie! Tisha's evolution into hair professionally began in 1997. She loves this experience more than ever, as she is always eager and excited about helping others. Standing behind the chair allows her to be more than just a stylist. She is an artist that helps others to feel better and look better.

     Her passion for color gives her the ability to articulate the best canvas for her clients. She is also seasoned in a variety of lightening techniques. Her haircuts are always a fun and great way to change up your look as well. Her love for adding extra hair has really been a great addition to her craft. She is educated in various types of hair extensions and loves doing fairy hair for the little ones that admire a pop of color to their look. She is proficient at the Keratin Smoothing Treatments and Kera therapy, which is an express color lock and smoothing treatment. Another popular service is facial waxing: lip, chin, and face.      Phil is a professional hairstylist and colorist. He has studied with Roy Peters school of color for several years. Also, he has trained at Sigger's Color Design and Keune University in Atlanta, GA. He has owned his own salon and co-owned another. In years past he created his own product line and sold to salons in the southeast. He is excited to be a part of a great team at Mane Crush. He offers many services such as haircuts, color, balayage, and keratin treatments to name a few. He believes that communication is one of the most important things between him and his client.      Melissa has been in the beauty industry 25 years.  We were thrilled to have her join our team about 1 year ago.  She has always had a passion for making people feel beautiful.  It definitely shows!   She is such a hard worker, and her clients absolutely adore her.  On her time off, she enjoys spending time with family (babysitting her granddaughter), shopping, traveling, and exercise.  Every now and then, she throws in watching football.

She spent the first 7 years of her career working in St. Augustine, FL until she returned to her home in Michigan where she spent the last 9 years continuing her passion.
